Supporting Scottish independent food retailers and food service operators in meeting the challenge of adapting continually to an ever-changing commercial environment – that describes what we’ve been about almost since the day John Simpson Snr. first opened his doors way back in the late 50's. And it is what continues to drive us as we search out and implement the best in industry innovation, year in, year out.

We were the original chilled food wholesaler in Scotland, and we were the first to implement chill-to-chill loading and docking in the 1980's. We have worked tirelessly on our operating systems to ensure they are always the best they can be.

Here's a few milestones from what has been a truly amazing journey so far.
